Who we are

Fletcher Piccolo Associates ("FPA", "we") is a recruitment and executive search firm registered in the DMCC free zone, with offices at Office 2307, Jumeirah Business Centre 1, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We decide how and why the personal data described here is used.

Questions about this notice or your data: info@fpa-mena.com.

What we collect and why

  • Hiring enquiries (the "I'm hiring" form and the executive search enquiry form): your name, email, phone, job title, company and message. We use them to reply and to discuss the role with you.
  • Job seekers (the "I'm looking for a job" form): your name, email, phone, current title, region and CV. We use them to consider you for roles we are recruiting for.
  • Salary guide requests: your name, phone, work email, company, job title, whether you are hiring, and your agreement to be contacted. We use them to send the guide and, as you agreed, to contact you about salary reports, market insights and our services.
  • Salary survey: the survey runs on Typeform. We use the answers only in anonymous, combined form in our salary guide. If the survey asks for contact details, we use them only for the purpose stated there.
  • LinkedIn lead forms: if you complete a lead form in one of our LinkedIn ads, LinkedIn passes us the details shown in that form (for example your name, email, job title and company). We use them only to reply to your request, and for anything more (such as market updates) only if you tick the box for it in the form. LinkedIn also keeps its own copy for up to a year.
  • Emails you send to info@ or clients@fpa-mena.com, and our replies.
  • How you use the site and our ads: pages visited, the ad or link that brought you here, device and browser type, approximate location and similar technical data, collected through the cookies and tags described below.

Fields marked as required are needed to reply to you; without them we cannot respond. We do not sell personal data. We do not ask for sensitive data such as health or religion; please do not include it in a CV or message.

Cookies and tags

We use Google Tag Manager to load the tools below. They place cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.

  • If you are in Saudi Arabia, the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, these tools wait until you click OK in the cookie notice.
  • Everywhere else, they run when the page loads. Click "No thanks" in the cookie notice to switch them off.

You can change your choice at any time: (also at the bottom of every page).

Our Google Analytics account is linked to Google Ads. This means Google and other ad networks working with Google may show our ads on other websites to people who have visited this site, using our cookies together with Google's own advertising cookies. We do not send Google information that identifies you directly, such as your name or email address. Google explains how it uses data from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Google acts as our service provider for Analytics and Tag Manager, and on its own account for advertising. OpenAI uses the data its pixel collects on its own account, for its own purposes including measuring and improving its advertising, under OpenAI's privacy policy.

The contact page shows a Google map and the survey page shows a Typeform survey; Google and Typeform may set their own cookies when these load.

Other ways to opt out. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; turn off personalised Google ads at myadcenter.google.com; stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on; opt out of interest-based ads from many ad networks at optout.networkadvertising.org; and change your LinkedIn advertising settings in your LinkedIn account.

Our legal basis

  • Your request: to reply to an enquiry and to take the steps you ask for before we work together.
  • Your consent: for marketing contact (for example after a salary guide request), and for analytics and advertising cookies where the law requires consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligations: where we must keep or disclose records.
  • Legitimate interests: where the law allows it, to run and improve our website and measure our advertising, without overriding your rights.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it for us, under contract, and with employers or candidates as part of a search you take part in. Our providers are:

  • Lovable, which hosts this website and its database, and Resend, which delivers form emails to us
  • Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads, Maps and Sheets)
  • OpenAI (ChatGPT ads)
  • LinkedIn (ads and lead forms) and Make, which copies LinkedIn leads into our lead sheet (hosted in the EU)
  • Typeform (salary survey)
  • our email provider, and the systems we use to manage enquiries and candidates
  • our marketing agency, which manages our website measurement and advertising for us

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, for example to a court or regulator.

Transfers outside the UAE

Several of these providers store or process data outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the United States and the European Union. When we transfer data abroad we rely on the safeguards the law allows, such as the provider's data protection terms, or on your consent.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries, CVs, salary guide requests, LinkedIn leads and related emails only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows, or as long as the law requires. After that we delete them or keep them only in anonymous form. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Keeping it safe

This site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Form submissions are stored with our website host and reach us by email.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy; to correct it; to delete it; to stop or limit using it; to stop marketing contact; and to send it to another organisation. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect what we did before.

Email info@fpa-mena.com with your request. We may need to confirm who you are. We will reply within 30 days; if we need longer, we will tell you why.

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the UAE's data protection regulator (the UAE Data Office, now part of the UAE Artificial Intelligence and Data Authority) or, if you live in Saudi Arabia, to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top.
