NOW HIRING A PLANNING MANAGER
Our client is a Western-managed main contractor specialized in high-rise and Villa projects
The Role
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the entire planning and scheduling function from pre-construction through to completion. You’ll be working closely with project teams, senior management, and clients to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, monitoring, and update of project schedules using Primavera P6
- Prepare and manage baseline programs, construction sequences, and recovery schedules
- Collaborate with project teams to assess delays, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans
- Prepare EOT and delay analysis reports in line with contractual requirements
- Monitor project performance against key milestones and KPIs
- Report directly to Project Directors and work closely with commercial and site teams
- Provide strategic planning support during the pre-contract and tendering phases
- Ensure compliance with project controls, reporting, and documentation procedures
Requirements
-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
-Minimum of 12 years of planning experience, including 5+ years in a Planning Manager role
-Must have worked with Tier 1 main contracting companies in the UAE or in the GCC region
-Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and delay analysis (EOT, Claims, etc.)
-Experience on high-rise towers, mid-rise buildings, or villa compounds is essential
-Excellent communication and leadership skills
