NOW HIRING AN INFRASTRUCTURE DIRECTOR – UTILITIES
Our client is a leading Real Estate Developer in Dubai.
The Role
The Infrastructure Director will be responsible for the delivery of wet & dry utility projects across residential master communities in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all site activities to ensure smooth execution.
- Review the project contract and confirm that each party is fulfilling their responsibilities.
- Manage the project schedule and track critical activities to avoid delays.
- Monitor costs, timelines, and progress, and provide regular updates.
- Coordinate with local authorities (DEWA, RTA, Trakhees, etc.) to secure necessary NOCs and permits.
- Attend project meetings with consultants and contractors to review progress.
- Join internal meetings with teams such as Commercial, Development, and Procurement to resolve any issues that may impact the contract.
- Track project progress, identify deviations, and take action to keep the project on course.
- Review and assess contractor claims and payment requests based on the contract, and ensure project costs align with the budget.
- Monitor consultant and contractor performance on-site to ensure they meet required standards.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to hand over infrastructure and landscaping, ensuring everything is ready for current and future use.
- Work with the DLP team to finalize snagging and handover of units.
- Review project close-out documents and finalize variations and outstanding payments.
- Take action as required by the reporting line or project needs.
Requirements
- 15+ years experience
- 5+ years experience working for a UAE Developer
- 4+ years in a Director level role
- A previous track record delivering on wet & dry utility projects valued AED 500m+
- A stable work history working for tier 1 companies
- Hold a relevant industry degree
