Our client is a Real Estate Developer specialising in hospitality projects in Dubai.
The Role
The Finance Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s financial strategy. This includes overseeing financial operations, planning and analysis, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise the CEO on financial matters and support strategic initiatives for growth.
- Ensure accurate financial statements and oversee cash flow, accounting, internal controls, and budget performance.
- Build strong relationships with investors and financial institutions, ensuring transparent financial communication.
- Ensure adherence to UAE financial regulations and tax laws while implementing financial risk management strategies.
- Create and execute financial strategies, manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and provide updates to the CEO.
- Lead finance teams, oversee treasury, audit, tax, and procurement, and enhance financial systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience
- 5+ years experience working for a UAE Developer
- 3+ years in a Director-level role
- A track record in financial planning, corporate finance, and reporting
- Previous experience implementing an ERP system
- Extensive experience with UAE financial regulations
- Previous experience overseeing a treasury department
